The Problem – Challenge

KISS, the well-known entertainment radio station that broadcasts in Athens from the 92.9 MHz FM frequency, and broadcasts foreign music, decided to develop its image with a mobile application, in order to get closer to its listeners and create a complete & competitive experience! The requirement was to design a user-friendly radio application. The rapid development of radio & music apps worldwide was the "bell" for its necessity.

The Solution: Redevelop the KISS 929 mobile app

KISS 92.9 radio station reached out to Smartup reflecting on its overall experience in developing mobile apps. Smartup accepted the challenge of designing & developing a new app taking into account the latest trends in the field of radio apps. The updated application briefly includes:

-Easy navigation to articles & events
-Ability to view contests
-Ability to listen to live On air broadcasts
-Choose to listen between different favorite music categories
-Tune into Kiss TV with official music videos from singles
-Ability to receive notifications
